Privacy Policy
PowerWyze LLC (“PowerWyze,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates powerwyze.com and provides AI-powered event activation kiosks and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our website, submit a form, become a customer, or apply to our brand ambassador program. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly through the three forms on our website, plus limited technical data automatically generated when you visit.
1.1 Quote requests (homepage)
When you submit the “Request a quote” form, we collect: name, work email, phone number, company, event type, and any free-text description of your event you choose to share.
1.2 RoboKiosk configurator (products page)
When you complete the configurator and submit an order request, we collect: name, email, phone, company, billing/shipping context, the kiosk model and quantity you selected, branding and IT support options, and any notes you add. Submissions are delivered to us by email.
1.3 Ambassador applications
When you apply to our brand ambassador program, we collect: full name, email, phone, city, state, Instagram handle, TikTok handle, other social or portfolio links you provide, audience size band, and your free-text answer about your network and why you want to represent PowerWyze.
1.4 Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our hosting provider (Vercel) and our domain registrar automatically log standard technical data: IP address, user-agent string, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps, and similar request metadata. We do not currently use third-party analytics scripts (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.) on powerwyze.com. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
1.5 What we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, financial account numbers, credit card numbers, health information, biometric identifiers, or precise GPS location from visitors to our website. Payment for goods and services is handled off-platform via invoicing tools (e.g., Stripe, ACH), each governed by their own privacy policies.
2. How we use information
- Respond to your inquiry — reply to quote requests, schedule discovery calls, send pricing, and follow up on orders.
- Deliver our services — coordinate kiosk rentals and purchases, schedule deployments, provide IT support, and run brand activations.
- Operate the ambassador program — review applications, onboard approved ambassadors, track referral attribution, and pay out bonuses and day rates.
- Internal CRM and recordkeeping — maintain a lead and customer database (Google Sheets / internal tools) so we can serve you across multiple touchpoints.
- Improve our website and offering — understand which products and topics resonate and refine our messaging accordingly.
- Comply with law — respond to subpoenas, court orders, tax obligations, and other legal requirements.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share it with data brokers.
3. How we share information
We share information only with a small set of service providers who help us run the business, and only with the scope each provider needs to do its job:
- Vercel — website hosting and request logs.
- Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Sheets, Apps Script) — email delivery and lead/CRM storage.
- GoDaddy — DNS and domain registration.
- Cloudflare and similar infrastructure providers — security and delivery, where applicable.
- Payment, invoicing, and accounting tools — if you become a customer, your billing details may be processed by Stripe, QuickBooks, or a similar provider under their own privacy terms.
- On-site event partners — when an ambassador refers a lead and the lead converts, we share the ambassador’s name and contact info with the client only to the extent needed to coordinate the on-site activation.
- Legal and safety — we may disclose information if compelled by valid legal process, to enforce our agreements, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers — if PowerWyze is acquired, merged, or reorganized, customer and lead data may transfer to the successor entity, subject to this policy.
4. Cookies and tracking
powerwyze.com does not currently set marketing or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function (e.g., load balancing, security). If we add analytics or marketing pixels in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, provide a consent banner.
5. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations:
- Quote requests and configurator submissions — up to 24 months after the last interaction, then archived or deleted.
- Customer records — for the duration of the engagement plus the period required by tax and accounting rules (generally 7 years in the United States).
- Ambassador applications — up to 24 months from submission if you are not approved, or for the duration of your ambassador status plus 7 years of payment records if you are.
- Server and access logs — typically 30 to 90 days, per our hosting provider’s defaults.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information — including HTTPS/TLS for all website traffic, restricted access to internal CRM tools, and least-privilege access for service providers. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that personal information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by a security breach.
7. Your rights and choices
Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete information we no longer need to keep;
- Stop contacting you for marketing purposes; and
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it.
To make a request, email wyzer@powerwyze.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and describe what you want us to do. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
8. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:
- Right to know what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, used, and disclosed.
- Right to delete personal information, subject to exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information for purposes that require this right.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email wyzer@powerwyze.com. You may also authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf; we will require written proof of authorization.
9. European residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing your personal information are:
- Performance of a contract — when you place an order or become an ambassador.
- Legitimate interests — responding to inquiries, running our business, securing our website, and preventing fraud.
- Consent — where required for any optional communications.
- Legal obligation — tax, accounting, and other compliance.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Personal information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws differ from those in your country. We rely on standard contractual clauses with our service providers where required.
10. Children
powerwyze.com is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the website or, where appropriate, by email to active customers and ambassadors.
